Editpipe - Validation tool

 

PIPESTRESS is a highly qualified analysis program, one of the reasons of its wide acceptance and use in the nuclear industry. It has been developed, tested and documented according to the methodology defined in the PIPESTRESS Quality Assurance Program.

The Validation Tool is a unique feature in piping software. Its intent is to confirm to the user that the program installed on his computer is identical to DST's QA version in Geneva.

Most of the test problems used for the verification and validation of PIPESTRESS are provided in PepS installation CDROM and can be run at any time using the validation tool integrated in Editpipe.

 

 

The result files are automatically compared with the QA files stored on the CDROM. A log file listing all significant discrepancies is produced.
